I just purchased a Sara Rayner pot. She is such a joy to talk to...how I wish she is closer so I can see more of her pots in person. Well, maybe it is for the better since I will probably go broke fast if she is. :D

11 5/8 X 9 X 2 3/4 inside dimensions,
12 7/8 X 10 1/4 X 3 1/2 outside dimensions.

She is very nice. She always gives me a discount everytime I buy a pot from her at The Midwest Bonsai Show in Chicago.

I visit her shop every spring and fall. It's funny that she says she doesn't put too many of her own trees in her pots. I guess if you see them everyday, you'd rather see someone elses'.

Every visit I have three or four pots I am looking for. It's fun to bring your trees along and get something that is just right.

My avatar is a tree I bought from her. Now there's added pressure to do a good job as caretaker of that tree cause I would have to explain myself twice a year if I don't!!

Congrats on the new pot Dario!

I purchased a couple from her in Denver last summer... It's a good thing I was short on funding because I loved all of her pots :)

I had her make a pot for me a couple of years ago. Absolutely great experience! She is a class act for sure. Her pots are some of the best quality bonsai pots I've ever seen and she is super nice and helpful.

Nice pot, Dario! Congratulations! Do you have a tree to put in it?

Cory

I am going to see her in a few weeks when she has a fresh batch of pots coming out of the kiln. Really looking forward to it. Really nice pot by the way. What do you have in mind for it ?

She makes excellent quality, beautiful pots. And, she's a great person to deal with.

I have a couple of her pots I am selling if anyone is interested. A big, round cascade, and a big, deep oval. Those 2 for sure. I am sure I have more buried in the pot pile.

I'm interested. Pics or prices?

This is one of them. I'll get some current photos and dimensions. There is no tree in it now...vacancy sign is lit....

I have another larger pot that is an oval. Its thawing out for photos as i type...

Don, just wanted to say that while I don't care for most windswept designs, you've pulled it off very well. I got a great sense of movement when I first saw the composition.

Kudos!
