Dave Bogan passed away on December 21st at the age of 72. He was a native Hoosier. I’ve had the privilege of learning from him and his wife Barbara for the past 4 years. He was very kind, loved to help people, and really adored the art of bonsai. Him and his wife are like my second parents, and I would have never made it this far on my bonsai journey without them. Thank you Dave! We will meet again!

So sorry for your loss.

As a native Hoosier myself I've been to his place several times. They were always welcoming, warm, generous hosts. Sorry to hear of his passing.

I didnt know him other than that he was a long time contributor to the bonsai community.
RIP

I didn’t know him, but I’m sure his absence will be a loss for the community as a whole, not to mention what it is for you personally.

It’s a special thing having someone like that in your life, treasure the time you had.
