Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a bit of what I’ve been working on recently and show some progress shots of a few different varieties I've been growing over the past few months. I’ve really appreciated all the advice and encouragement I’ve gotten here, especially during my early days hanging around the beginners thread.
First up — a mix of jade varieties I’ve been experimenting with.
I’ve attached some before-and-after photos for comparison. One that has me a bit concerned is the jade growing over the rock — as it’s developed, the trunk started to lean and eventually toppled over. In the photos, it’s being propped up by the backdrop just to keep it steady. Any suggestions would be welcome.
Lastly, I received a ficus this morning that I picked up from someone locally, who told me it’s from Asia. They are relocating to California. If if anyone can offer guidance on what direction to take it, I’d be very grateful. Definitely in need of TLC
Thanks in advance — I always learn a lot from the feedback here!
