So I bought three Mugo Pines for the Vance Wood memorial contest and only entered two because I definitely reduced the root ball WAY too much. I knew this one would die and that's why I didn't bother entering it.
Two days ago I dug it up and washed it off and removed a bunch of undesirable roots. A few hours later I came up with this monstrosity.
All I need to do now is add some lime sulfur so his smell matches his looks
Luckily the spirit of my Mugo will live on inside of this oddly cute Wood Sprite.
