5yr Native Tree Challenge - James W. Juniperus virginiana 'Greguard'

"Grey Guardian" is a sport of "Grey Owl" which is a selected seedling of J. virginiana "Glauca".
This one I purchased earlier this year and slip potted into it's current pot. Photographed yesterday.

I removed a lot, but I needed to get rid of a section of trunk that was too straight and boring. Maybe I should have practiced some advanced bending.
Doesn't matter, the contest duration doesn't give enough time to fatten up the trunk much so I'm looking at a small tree anyway.

I forgot to take a picture last year. It grew well over 2021
