30+ Year Old Cork Oak for sale

CORK oaks are like Zone 9-11 or SOMETHING like that. (I can't remember EXACTLY)... I think your too cold.
I've been keeping two with me in NC now - through two winters and heading into a third. They love it. I'm in Zone 7B/8A, depending on the weather and the harshness of winter storms. These were in pots on benches, too, without any protection. I'm assuming if you had them in the ground they'd do even better (if cold were a concern).

Only one way to find out!

(P.S. Now I think about it, Ryan Neil just did a video on cork bark oak, so he certainly has the ability to keep them at his nursery. I don't know if he gives them winter protection, however)

Oaks, in GENERAL, grow all over...

I have been growing a cork oak in USDA zone 7 for a few years now. Previous winters it has been outside on the ground, protected from wind. I have seen leaf loss growing this way, so for this coming winter I plan to overwinter in a shed under lights, kept around 35F. Point is, it can be done!
