A zelkova dug one or two years ago out of a client's garden. Its been just growing and recovering but Id like to repot it next year. Today I did some basic branch selection, fertilization, and I set an air layer on the top of the tree which needs to be removed.
The photos with the blue towel show the removed apex and future next section of the tree.
