propagation from cuttings

Anyone tried using a propagation tray kit?

Hi just wondering if anyone’s used anything like this for cuttings? Right now I just stick them all in akadama in a large pot under my bench ( mainly Hinoki and some shimpaku) but this seems a little more organized? They also just sell the tray and some without the lights.

Possible to root a cutting from a large Pyracantha branch?

Is it likely that I can propagate this Pyracantha by taking these two large branches as cuttings? I've successfully taken cuttings of a similar size from an olive. But I'm not sure how comparable a Pyracantha is/how easily they root.

Propagation of Atlantic Cedar from cuttings?

I've been offered to take some cuttings from Atlantic Cedar whenever I want to. It's tempting to have some young cedar trees but first I want to ask you all if anyone has been successful with the above and if so, what time of year would work for that best. Thanks much in advance.
