olive tree bonsai

Hi all, First post here. My Olive Bonsai had a plague but I managed to save it and now its growing quite fast... Old leaves have fallen and new ones have grown quite fast sideways. Branches seem to be extending a lot. Should I trim it or just let it grow free? Thanks
