This weekend, again I had the chance to dig out this amazing tree. Unfortunately while lifting the tree out of the ground, a lot of The roots just fell off.
I made it wet and placed it in a big training pot with akadama, some vulcastrat and moss.

So I have this pine in my yard. It’s on the side of my house and I will be moving before next winter.
Now that I’m into bonsai and looking to acquire trees I’m dying to try to dig this up!

hi so who on here is lucky enough to collect yamadori? i mailed my contact at the local council and asked if it would be ok if i was to collect, he said it wasnt something they could licence so i should be careful...im happy with that!
