    I'm 74 now and started more cuttings and seeds this year and have started saving seeds for next spring. One of my first bonsai mentors, George Yamasaki, lived to 108 and still started new trees every year.

    Sadly, as I was taking it to my workshop for some cleanup a few years ago the cart overturned, shattering the $400 Walsall pot. The tree never recovered. 😢

    I have several quality pots that, oaf that I am, have been broken. I repaired them with the epoxy and gold mica faux kintsugi method. Is it appropriate to use them for a tree in a major show?
