Just retired 3 weeks ago and have a chance to take photos of my Pyracantha showing lots of berries. They are ready for bonsai show but nothing is near in the future. Enjoy the berries now before the birds eat them or squirrel will do damage just to pissed me off.. Fall is good time to do major...

Pyracantha - It's all about the red berries... its thorny and be very careful. Easy to grow, can be air layered and excellent choice for shohin display. It's all about the berries that makes this plant a good choice in your collection. The fruit really stands out but...

Indian Hawthorn is one my favorite as shohin material. They flower every year and berries after...

Believe it or not it was a very stressful summer heat wave because i don't have a shade cloth to protect them... Of course, the fruit this year is amazing and plenty of them but no place to show my trees. Indian Hawthorne is the one with dark purple berries...
