The old pot was a little too small and had some undercuts which made getting the tree out extremely difficult. The crack fixed that. 🔨🔨🔨. The new one has some draft in it, no undercutting and 1-1/2 bigger.

Maybe use the PBS/NPR model, have pledge drives. I have donated to this site but it’s not the first thing on my mind when I come here. Making it more obvious and having an event could bring up the bar for members that know the value of the site. Have it as many times as needed.
This used to be Mel's. He donated most of his collection to the university. They're just now taking the rest of his shohin. He only playing with mame now.

Tree is 21" high from the soil line. The foliage is becoming denser and more compact. They grow like a weed. After its mid-June cutback it starts to really putting out growth toward the end of July and now requires constant pinching until mid-September. Don't know why you don't see them more...
I do! I like it ,however it is powerful and can damage the bark if left in one place too long. You have to keep it moving!! It will clean where toothbrush won't go.
