    Cheap turntable alternative??

Buy this base, it's awesome. Same as what one UK artist is selling as a bonsai work table, but can be purchased at Lowes. Add a top with lazy susan hardware that was already shared, and you are rocking! It even tilts, so trees can be worked at angles...

    Lance's JBP....

Lance do either of the bonsai businesses in New England offer fairly priced tree boarding for winter? Up here it is priced around $12 per square foot for the winter. I personally love having the greenhouse rental space, it becomes like a bonsai social club over winter. With 6 months of winter...

Where are you located in Canada? Obviously Mail ordering trees implies that you can't get the material nearby. They are completely worth it if it means you can obtain material otherwise unavailable to you. If you know anything about tomentosa, they can be developed very quickly, depending on...

    A few different black pines

Another winter where covid forces us to spend more time with our trees. Repots have started, and as always it's great to see what is going on hidden from our eyes. I have been pruning and cleaning up trees when I have the time. My yatsabusa black pine got a good clean out, but the cascade branch...
