Pinus Sylvestris care guide Version 2 2

No permission to download
Updated version, I'm leaving version 1 online for historical reference.

If you prefer a black and white printable version, please send me a PM or edit it yourself.

Any feedback is appreciated, please send it to me in a PM so that we can discuss it further together. If you want a technique investigated or added, same message applies.

I do not plan on making a version 3 unless there is a community need to do so.

This guide is to be used for Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris) bonsai and their development. It is meant to teach people about when to perform techniques, what physical happenings are the best indicators for the timeframe of those techniques, and what the most likely results are of applying these techniques at those times.
The guide lightly touches on pest and disease management but is mostly aimed at beginner-level enthusiasts that would like a helping hand - or bonsai veterans that want to lose the calendar-bound timings and are looking for something reliable.
The guide does not touch on design or design choices, as this is something I believe people should do themselves.

Reads well and easy. Will be following advice and update review if I find any whales.
This is exactly what I've been looking for! Thanks for taking the time to share your expertise, there's so much valuable information to take on board here.
Excellent guide! Wire_Guys_wire is an excellent Pinus Sylvestris resource. He's helped me tremendously with my trees. I am so grateful for his help.
Otherwise you might be shooting blades of grass at whales and this doesn’t really work if you want ants out of your space station."
- from the chapter Pests and Disease, page 3.

I'm convinced that once the above is fully realized and is then integrated into one's bonsai methodology; that person may then forever and always afterwards claim to be a "Master" of the art.

That the guide consists of information compiled through firsthand trial and error over a span of time is obvious. Clearly and simply articulated with a bit of funny too. The guide has a strong " If you want what I got then do what I did" feeling about it. It's not just sterile instruction.

Good job Wires_Guy_wires.
