Alligator juniper

It is TOTALLY worth the price!!

I've learned about these trees BECAUSE of yours..

Buuut ..NO WAY can I grow them effectively here.

I'm fairly jealous... the bark on these is fantastic, and this specimen is heading in a lot of "right directions"...

..my climate would kill it.

Let me know if when you have another alligator juniper for sale.

Do you have any alligator junipers you’re thinking of selling soon?

I'm definitely interested! Also interested in any and all tips you are willing to share on your process for germinating and propagating from seed. This is one of the few great natives for bonsai in my area. Thank you in advance!

UC Davis recommends ".....High rates of germination with 48 hour warm soak and nicking with knife or nail clippers then 3 month cold stratification in light medium in refrigerator....."

Yes I have 2 I just pulled out of the ground this spring. I also have about 20, 4 year old seedlings I need to split up. I’ll probably have them ready next spring
I saw that you sold them… any chance for some Yamadori that could be balled and shipped to me in spring? <hopeful grin>
