Found some time to shoot more recently repotted trees. Also took a quick snap of the mother-daughter Doug Fir with full blown elongated new growth! Wonder if it’ll put in two pushes of growth this year like it did last.

Chopped off a lower primary branch on my olive that was bothering me for a while. I felt it made the tree look smaller than it appeared. I could've shorted the branch as well, but I wanted to push asymmetry so the whole branch is gone. The trunk looks a little too big now... but the canopy will develop so it'll fill out.

Collected this little white pine and got it into a plastic pot. I know white pines are not that desirable, but I thought this little tree was pretty cool. I'm brand new to the hobby, so if nothing else I'll gain some experience keeping pines. Plus, being in Maine it's our state tree, so I feel it's only right to have at least one in my collection.

My 5 year old daughter has been home sick the past couple days with the stomach flu. She was feeling a bit better today and wanted pancakes "in shapes." So she got a star, heart, and kitty head.

I made one for myself.

Began the process of (hopefully) germinating some JWP seeds in a few months. Not sure how well they will go, but you never know until you have a go.
They'll soak for a day or two in some water (with a few mls of Hydrogen Peroxide) before moving on to stratification options...

Edited another image of a recently repotted tree. Raw Colorado Blue Spruce in an East Creek Art container. I’ll be performing the initial styling this Fall (It’s been putting an absurd amount of new growth in the last month)

Got Hot peppers and tomatoes going go far. Sweet corn tomorrows project.

Came home from travel to a destroyed collected live oak. Damn rabbits pulled it down and took a few nibbles.

I wonder if the tree has any energy left to grow new shoots.

I am moving it to a shelf. Hopefully it will grow some new shoots and the wabbits will leave it alone.
