Hello All. I acquired a nice Amur from a gentleman who passed. It is pretty root bound, still drains and no black roots. Should I slip pot it gently till I can work the roots next year or do you think I can get away with leaving it till next year when I can do a proper re pot. Thank you

O a clump style haha sorry I should have known. No this is one plant but I believe they do a root air layer on these ones and then plant them on a disk.

There was no fusion, it's how they grow them in Vietnam, they grow them over round hard plastic to get the roots to flair out and then leave them in the ground for a couple years and cut back. There is no grafting anywhere

Honestly i dont know. The printing is easy, the hard part its the paining that takes hours. you can pick up a decent 3d printer for 200 to 350. If you do get one learn to print with PETG it holds up to elements and heat better. Also thanks for your kind words im glad you like it

Just an FYI my hinoki was outside and got down to -10C multiple times. Tips went a bit brown i did bring it in and to be honest its doing really fricken good inside under full spectrum light and mist twice a day. its grown alot in the past month and a half its been inside. ( i do think the 2.5...

Thank you for validating this. I read on a couple places they shrivel and fall off as well from over watering and then people make the mistake of keep adding water because they think its from not enough lol. I did give it a good watering ill see how it looks in the morning. Thanks
