I’ve only run into trouble with my system since I switched to WiFi water valves, when your internet gets interrupted and you are not there to reset the connection, you can’t get the hub back online. I’m going to have to set up a failsafe old school timer in the line for when I’m out of town.

Wonder if you could have them attach a chain from the bottom that could come up the sides of the pot, then you'd use your bungee to go on top of the pot, it might be a way to incorporate the safety of the bungee with the feel of the stand. Just a thought, it's a cool stand, happy birthday!!!

Very nice! A new stand or display area can really make you see your trees in a new light. I wonder if your hubby could fashion some sort of steampunk type tie downs to hold them on instead of the bungees...

We have lots of moles every few years, when the grub population is high, so that normally evens out the beetle swarms here. No moles this year, and only a few beetles so far.

If you put a wooden skewer or chopstick into the soil, you can test for when it needs watered easily by looking or feeling for moisture on the stick. Only water when it needs it, ie; when it’s dry or close to.

You are going to be very busy in the next couple weeks, I can’t imagine you stopping at one carload or two…😁 I’d for sure go if closer.
