I am fairly new to Bonsai. As a teenager i killed a nice Japanese maple and juniper. Now in my twenties, i'm doing the right thing and vindicating those two plants.
Right now i have a Willow - not exactly sure what species, the one that grows wildly in minnesota - taken from a cutting. 3 maple seedlings - one older maple (probably 3 years old, collected). A tiny salix caprea. And a juniper procumbens pre-bonsai.
I plan to continue to learn through books and the internet. The dream is to successfully grow a coast redwood - but i'm not up to it just yet.
