I didn't want to bump it since it was a post from a decade ago, but I'm really happy you posted a picture of your 'Not Minerva' flowers! I don't think there are any others after searching google and it was instrumental in pulling the trigger on starting a project with some.

Hey Leo, I posted a reply to you, but not sure where. I am just getting aquainted with this site. People on this site have told me to contact you regarding wintering, and other stuff, mostly pines. Don't know where exactly you are located.
I am in Harvard, IL. We must be reasonably close. Just thought if you had time and inclination we could get together and commiserate about these little trees.

Leo, being an expert in Blueberries, the wife and I were thinking of getting a bush for the yard.

What do you recommend as an easier cultivar to grow here in 7a-7b? What is the best time to plant? What kind of maintenance to keep the bush happy as not only a producing bush, but also to look nice in the landscape?

Hi Leo, Thank you for you input on the fungicide. Do you use the granular form or the liquid form? Your application protocol sound like you use the liquid form. I thought the liquid form was only a foliar spray. I was wanting to order some but do not know which type to get for bonsai culture. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

hey, thanks for your guide post there. I am actually a transplant from Illinois, born in Cook COunty then lived in Toluca till 16 yrs old. Long suffering Cubs fan hoping the post season goes a bit longer for them tonight.
