sorry but it looks like a pile of green balls. needs some variation in shapes. even elongated or eliptical shapes would add more contrast. please get rid of those pavers on the borders. how about some rocks instead? sorry to be harsh, but i would want the same honesty.

koyote1 is quite ignorant to japanese garden design....this yard is as close to perfect as you can get...reminds me of the morichia museum gardens.

Yes - I've seen some vids of Japanese bonsai gardens and in the background behind the bonsai is landscaping just like this. So very well done.
