That's not a cherokee purple tomato.
it is, but i do see where youre coming from. i grew them from seed or a starter. i dont let mine overrippen, i eat them a bit firm.
you can see pink prior to darkening

theres a chance youre correct but i dont remeber planting anything but big beef, cherokee purp, a small slicing, and a few cherry toms

The "purple" always showed up on mine before it ripened. You could tell when it was still green. I've got TONS of heirloom tomato seeds (50+ varieties), but I haven't grown tomatoes in a couple years. I probably need to, just so I can freshen up my seeds in storage.

you could be right about that - it is a big ole heirloom regardless i believe. the flavor is amazing

those big beef reds arent bad either. meaty. hybrids perhaps

heres what i thought was Cherokee purple btw, might be same tomato as initial one i posted

i have a deep respect for mayo. you must be a miracle whip guy? lol jp. mustard gets it done often for me, too

trying to make some of this soon, bologna salad (ham salad is a top 5 sandwhich for me, pissed cumbies stopped selling them)
im a savage w food. turkey necks, gizzards, head cheese, tins of canned fish, etc.

ive done that, try not to but it is good haha, like chipotle mayo or aioli
with fries, epic.

if you havent tried this, instead of butter on corn on cob, try a little mayo spread on there,
salt/pepper. amazing flavor
After living almost 20yrs living in Europe, you learn to appreciate other tastes. Ketchup and mayo mixed 50/50 is good too.

But I do appreciate your appreciation :)

That really almost made me sick reading it. You have some eclectic food cravings for sure. I do like fried gizzards though.....

You should try some fresh homemade mayo.....with RAW egg yolks, lemon juice, olive oil, and some spice for flavor!

You may change your mind??? ;)
Nope. And I'm not fooled by them trying to sneak it in calling it an aioli. Keep that crap in the kitchen away from my food!!
