This morning

Nice technique. I like all the tips and tricks you veterans have. :) Going to put this in my back pocket.
You ain’t seen nothin’ yet!
Seriously, when I’m doing these things, I tend to redneck the heck out of it, but the results are usually good enough.

... and I’m always alone when I’m doing the really rednecky ones so there are no witnesses😬

You're not alone. There's four deer 20 feet away, watching....and waiting....to pounce. :)

It broke dormancy to flower? Or never went dormant? Cool either way, just curious.
Honestly, those flower buds were swelling back in mid November when it got moved inside. It’s basically been in the 30s in my workshop for the last month, but the flower buds continue to slowly swell and open up… It may continue to flower right through the winter and I’m OK with that🙃.

For sure! IDK anything about chojubai other than that's the noise I make when I sneeze. ;)

Not really a thing in MI but Winter flowers are cool. :)

Only a Michigan rabbit would find its way into an area of the yard fenced off with metal deer fencing, climb up onto a raised concrete patio, chew through the plastic deer fencing then climb up over the wooden cold frame to have dinner.

Restyling opportunities presenting themselves all over the place this coming spring....

They must be getting hungry with all tje snow...

We need more predators around. That sucks, and WTH else can you do? Sounds like your rabbit defenses were solid, and now it looks like you need a moat. Now I want to go check my trees.

We could split a den of foxes if I find a seller.
