I want to hear more arguments ..Bonsai Humor Thread No. 2

Bonsai cut paste is a sealant used to protect pruning wounds on bonsai trees, aiding in healing and preventing disease. It helps maintain moisture and prevents dieback while the tree forms a callus over the cut. Different types exist, including clay-based and latex-based, each serving specific purposes, like sealing for short or long periods. Some bonsai enthusiasts also use alternative sealants like plumbing putty or duct seal.

I use cut paste to hide the wound until I forget about it, and then, several weeks later, remember it again and say " Wow, look how fast that healed!"
I use cut/paste to hide tha fact that I can't tipe my own wirds. Un then, win I fergit, my post koms out lick thees.

Ohw... 😳

Is the use of a 24hr clock something special in the USA that you give it a special name. Wow.

I guess all my digital systems are set to 24hrs.

In writing I guess I use 17:00 when you use 5 in the afternoon / 5PM. For me, there are 24 hours in a day 🤷‍♀️.
I guess that is all part of where you grow up.

Had to look it up and .. The world seems to be pretty divided..

Yes, I think beacuse, in general, its the military that uses the 24 hour system and the U.S. public uses 12 hour system.

Most electronic time devices allow you to display it either way. Years ago I wanted to learn/get more familiar with military time and set my wrist watch to that time scheme on purpose to get the hang of it.

Dear lord why the heck would I want to do that? Yikes!

As an aside, that vague statement you hear once in a while, "it contains plant hormone that aids in healing," is pretty much bunk. It likely has as much effect as saying a little prayer or giving it a little smooch for luck.

HEY!! Don't discount smooches! I have much better luck buying bonsai stuff when I throw a couple of smooches towards the wife. :)

Definitely a nice bonus to kissing the wife, although an unnecessary one. I usually stop kissing my wife to get bonuses. Probably because I don't discount my smooches. I charge full price.

That is what happens when you offer up things from the reguribot pool. I clicked on it and what a horror. Something in that dozen-item list (plus plumbers putty!) is going to react with another. Then an essential oil because you love the smell? Trees do NOT like a smell just because we do, and they hate half the aromachemicals in there.
