Dang it... The boxes I grabbed from post yesterday are MOSTLY too small... Well..if I want to ship them WELL...and safely

I will NOT risk it.. I will wait to grab bigger boxes tomorrow.

It will give me a chance to "bless" all the pieces though. Let me know if you have an intent preference, or they all will simply be blessed for health/strong growth/longevity (my standard "vessel blessing")

Also.. if all those interested parties (those who have not already reached out) would like to PM me their E-mail address and mailing address, I can start getting all this "moving".

I'm not repotting anytime soon, so no worries. I'm thinking a Viking battle blessing would work best for me, at least that way the trees can meet in Valhalla.

The pot in this thread that I got is really neat; the side walls slope in towards the center ever so slightly, making for a nice feeling of intimacy.

Ashes from the blessing...

I still used native herbs..

But had to study a little about Norse blessings....

It was a straight-forward parting blessing, calling Odin, Thor and Loki..

Then lastly just a funeral blessing. (With the addition of a drop of grapeseed oil).... just Odin.. for passage into Valhalla for all the souls that pass here.

I realized what it was, then I pictured you in a Vikings helmet, dancing, & singing. Then I smiled and remembered why I like you so much.

Then I realized I now have to provide a Viking funeral for any trees that die in this pot. I haven't done Archery since I was 18, and I no longer own a Bow. Never mind the boat, or lighting something on fire on Lake Erie.

Now, I'm probably going to put a ficus in this pot because I haven't killed one yet.

I can't stand tobacco, and don't think I've ever smoked it by itself...and even when mixed with other plants, it ain't my first choice!
